New Members Welcome

Kensington & Norwood Writers’ Group acknowledges we meet on Kaurna land.

We appreciate the grants we have received from the Council of the City of Norwood Payneham & St Peters, and acknowledge the support from our patron, the Honourable Steven Marshall MP.

Kensington & Norwood Writers’ Group meets on the 2nd and 4th Wednesday of every month (except January, and the 4th Wednesday of December).

Our meetings are held in The Don Pyatt Room, Norwood Town Hall, from 7pm to 10pm, corner of Parade and George Street (enter through George Street).

Writers read from a range of genres including: memoir, non-fiction, short fiction, prose, poetry, plays, screenplays and novels. Feedback and critiquing is offered. Regular writing workshops are provided.

We publish our own journal annually: Writers on Parade. For sale in Dillons Bookshop, Norwood.

There is a $2 charge per meeting (free for first-time visitors), and there is a small membership fee for joiners.
